Char Dham Yatra is popular pilgrimage circuit located in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. The journey comprises four holy shrines: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath, all of which are situated in the foothills of the Himalayas. 1. Hotels in Kedarnath Dham do not provide deluxe facilities due to the high altitude, and they only have bed/sharing tent systems. Guests must provide valid identification documents such as a passport, visa, voter ID card, driver’s license, or Aadhar card. The hotel/camp may refuse to provide accommodation if valid ID proof is not provided.
2. Check-in time at most hotels is 14:00 hrs, and checkout time is 11:00 hrs. Early check-in or late checkout may be chargeable if not included in the cost. Meals included in the package will be served at a set menu basis in a buffet menu/fixed/meal credit, and any additional items not included in the menu will be charged extra at the time of consumption. In Chardham, north Indian food is commonly served, but it’s best to cross-check if the food does not contain garlic and onion.
3. Many hotels in hill areas or Chardham do not have AC, so it’s best to confirm with the company regarding this matter. Lift facility and power backup are not available in most Chardham hotels. Wi-Fi and room heaters are mostly chargeable, but guests should not expect good Wi-Fi in Chardham hotels due to network issues.
4. Regarding transportation, AC will not work in all hill areas or stopped/parked vehicles. Vehicles will only be permitted to use for sightseeing points on the route and inside the city limits or as mentioned in the itinerary. If guests want to include additional or substitute sightseeing, they must contact the company. Refunds are not possible if any particular sightseeing point is not covered.
5. If there is a vehicle breakdown due to technical reasons, the company will try to arrange another vehicle as soon as possible. Guests must cooperate with the company in case of any delays & alterations in the program or expenses incurred directly or indirectly due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, weather conditions, or any other situations beyond the company’s control.
